The Food Bank Amsterdam is committed to an important goal: providing food to people who (temporarily) cannot meet their own needs. On average, 4,000 people in Amsterdam receive a food parcel each week. They achieve this by collecting food from third parties that would otherwise be discarded, thus helping to prevent food waste. Additionally, they invest in supplying fresh vegetables and fruits to offer the most varied and nutritious selection possible.

 

To continue this work, the Food Bank could greatly benefit from your support. Your contribution helps the Food Bank not only to distribute food but also to cover costs for housing, logistics, and office expenses. The Food Bank Amsterdam is made possible by more than 400 dedicated volunteers and operates independently, driven by the motto citizens for citizens.
