The blended Scotch whisky from Adelphi possesses the characteristics of a single malt whisky, yet it is unmistakably a blended whisky.

This whisky owes its single malt traits to the fact that the blend is crafted from a Private Stock. The maturation took place in carefully selected casks and is a mix of various excellent whiskies. As a result, the blend offers soft and balanced aromas on the nose. The combination of different casks beautifully merges the flavors of the Highland and Speyside regions, while also providing a hint of peat from the Islay region. This blend is one of Het Whisky Huis’s favorites!

Bottler
Although Adelphi was founded in 1826, the distillation process ceased as early as 1907. Little remains of the distillery itself; its chimney was demolished in 1971, and over time, the warehouses also disappeared. Today, Adelphi is a renowned Independent Bottler in Scotland. In 1993, the name Adelphi was revived by Jamie Archibald, who transformed it into an Independent Bottler. His mission was to acquire high-quality single malts and bottle them into exquisite whiskies. In 2004, Adelphi was taken over, but fortunately, this did not compromise the quality of its whiskies. Adelphi continues to bottle some of the finest quality whiskies available!
