Extra virgin olive oil, cold extracted, production October 2024
This organic extra virgin oil is a full-bodied Sicilian oil, has an amber-like green color and is characterized by pleasantly bitter and spicy aromatic notes.
It is a sweet oil with a delicate and particularly fruity taste with notes of freshly picked tomato, green almond and artichoke.
These flavors reflect the characteristics of the harvesting area, which produces certain types of hill olives, harvested in a traditional organic agricultural context in the regions of Butera, Riesie and Mazzarino (Sicily).
Due to the three-stage cold extraction process, which takes place within six hours after the harvest, all taste characteristics of the olives remain intact.
Excellent for both cold and warm use.
